Uneven on purpose.
Every other dating app gives both sides the same profile and pretends that makes it fair. Uneven doesn't. Her side is the app you already know: photos up front, a few short facts. His side has no photos at all — a voice note and the words he wrote. She decides from what she reads and hears; he decides from what he sees. Two different games, one match — and the two sides are not on equal footing, which is the entire point.
Not on the stores yet. Neither listing is live — these are placeholders until they are.
How it works
The asymmetry isn't a gimmick bolted onto a normal app. It's the whole product. One side is the app you've used before; the other one isn't. Everything else — the deck, the chat, the match — is built around that gap.
Her side
Her profile is the familiar dating-app profile: photos first, a name, and up to three short facts under them. No bio, no prompts, no badges, no clever one-liner she rewrote nine times. The photos do the heavy lifting; the facts are the caption.
His side
His profile is a voice note, an opener, prompt answers and the basics. No photographs anywhere — an animal avatar stands in. One honest take: no trimming, no filters.
She uploads photos and, if she feels like it, three short facts. He records sixty seconds and answers three prompts in 140 characters each. Both answer the same five dealbreakers.
Discovery is local — roughly a fifteen-kilometre box, worked out from an approximate area, never a pin on a map.
On a match, the thread opens waiting on him. Text or voice, his move. She never has to open with "hey".
Safety
The mechanic is the fun part. Moderation is not supposed to be fun, and we haven't tried to make it so.
Photos are checked automatically the moment they're uploaded, before anyone else can see them. Anything flagged goes to a person, and the profile leaves discovery while it waits. Screening fails closed: an unscreened photo doesn't go live.
Report is reachable in two taps from any profile or any thread. Every report is reviewed by a person — not a scoreboard, not an automatic strike system. You get told what happened, not a form letter.
Blocking works in both directions and it is permanent. They don't appear in your deck, you don't appear in theirs, and they are never told. No unblock-by-accident, no re-appearing next Tuesday.
